I'll probably need a new trunk, tail lights, and bumper,so.....how about doing a 2004 Acura EL tail light conversion? Get EL trunk, tails and bumper. It should just bolt right on correct? Telly i need your input on this man....the 2004 EL lights looks soooooo sic compared to a civic sedan's tails. Telly......

You don't really NEED an EL bumper btw - if it's cheaper get an aftermarket Civic bumper. The tails, trunk (and inner tails) and some sort of remote trunk poppin strategy. Oh and of course, lose the A symbol on the trunk - that's only for "ricers" like me.

ha, thanks Telly. I was looking at the 04 ELs and the outer tail light curves out more than my 02, so if i get an 02 civic bumper, it will bubble out too much i think.
EL light conversion, that would look crazy!, i love the new 2004 EL tails.
Anyways sorry to hear about ur hit and run. Since you didn't catch the guys license plate number did u look around to see if any buildings or stores have security cameras that may have caught the incident and the license plate number?
Probably a long shot, but u never know.

The insurance appraiser was just here 20 minutes ago, he decided to come over today and look at the car. So far, 3500 in damages but they said that my rear bumper is fixable and they didn't say anything about replacing my left outer tail. It's not broken, but it's cracked, and i want new. Soooo, if i can't get my bumper replaced with a new one, i can't do the EL swap... Fawk!!!

your bumper will have to be replaced. the **** is pushed in and will most likely crease if you push it back out.... it'll never be 100% if they try and fix it.
Plus you have chunks missing from it don't you?

Yeah, there are 2 holes in the bumper...i talked to the body shop guy and he said it will be too much work to fix the oem bumper, and by the time he's done, it will cost more than to just replace it...so EL swap, here i come!

I got the audio out yesterday...here are some pics of the trunk with nothing but 35 lbs of sound deadener in it. In the corner is where the damage is at, you can see in the pics that the factory sound deadener broke off and it's ben up and in...
