Scrape by the Lake - updated first pg Aug 10, 2004
Here is an event in the Niagara Region
I don't really have lots of info but if there is interest I can find out more
here is a website at least
Scrape Info
Here is an email I got from an administrator of scrape by the lake regarding entering as a team:
"hey Jeremy,
there's a couple things you can do...when you
pre-register make sure you include your club or team
name (we use that to base a club/team discount on that
we refund later in the day of the show)...when you show
up day of show, try to get there early and try to show
up together...parking will be tight so if you want to
park together try to show up at the same time
my biggest advice is to pre-register though...we're
capping it at 400 cars and we already have 80
pre-registered
Joe"
NEW INFO AUGUST 10, 2004
Thank you for pre-registering to Scrape by the Lake 2004! We hope to make your move in on Sunday the 22nd as smooth and as quick as possible.
Reminder - Move in starts at 8am and ENDS at 11am
Upon arrival at the park follow the signs “PRE-REGISTRATION” to the dedicated pre-registration lane. Give the Scrape staff member your name and you will receive your registration packet already filled out and ready to go – place the registration card on your dash and proceed into the park towards the show area…find a spot and enjoy the show!
Each registered vehicle will receive 2 entry’s into the park – one for you and one for a friend/passenger riding with you…all other passengers will be required to pay normal spectator entry ($10 each…or $5 kids 12+under)
Changes for 2004
- show vehicles will be on grass, closer to the lake/beaches
- no more judging lanes – on the spot judging this year (please leave car hood, trunk, doors open for judges if not present with your ride)
- dedicated pre-registration lane
- more food/drink vendors
Thanks again for supporting Scrape, and see you on the 22nd!
Any questions, please reply by email, or call 905-563-9464

For those too lazy to check for directions:
Located right on Lake Ontario, just east of St. Catharines and Niagara Falls, Charles Daley Park is the new home of Scrape by the Lake.
I think I might be interested in this show as well.

Hey if you guys are comin down I'll enter too and I dont see why we couldnt do it as genseven.
As for hotels Niagara Falls is about 20 min away and there is tons of accomodation there. I can look into this further if necessary.
Or someone could even stay with me and avoid the expense. ( you have to put out though)

haha - free place to stay would be nice but if not I can use my government discount and get a room. Just need to find a hotel nearby.

yeah im writing ontario accounting exam at York U. If I pass that then I can write the UFE.
