*New pics--*Shoot Me Now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was heading over to visit my cousin tonite around 9. I was stopped at a light, about 6 or 7 cars back. It's raining mad, when all of a sudden a van comes crashing into my rear!!!! I get out, he asks if i want to call the cops or if i want him to pay me, i told him, "let's go over here to the Timmys". I drive my car up to the left hand turning lane, like 20 feet, i look back, i can't find him. There's lots of cars around, the light is still red, it's raining pretty good, i back up the car to look for him in the traffic, i don't see him. I pull into the TImmy's, wait for like 5 minutes, no show!!! I call the cops, they tell me to go to the Police Reporting station. I managed to get a girl's number and name who saw what happened. I was so freaked out in all the commotion, i didn't get a licence plate, just know it was an old guy with a Chevy Astro van. He left! Hit and Run!!! THat's the second hit and run that's happened to me in the last 3 months!!!! Faawwwwkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now everything looks like ***, thank god i think my stereo is ok, i can't tell cuz i can't get my trunk open. My rear passenger door rubs when it opens and closes. I hate my stinkin' luck!!!!!!!!

damn that sucks ... do u know how much in damage its going to be around? hope something covers for it cuz i would hate it that u did nothing and u would have to pay for it =(

APRBoy, thats shitty to hear man. Always take down a license plate number before you even think about moving!!! Also get a Digital Camera phone...it'll come in handy one day.

Good luck man, I hope you find him trapped in his burning van on the side of the road. Get his plate numbers before they're too charred to read, trace, call his house, and tell his next of kin they owe you money.
Then enjoy a nice cold slurpee in front of the windshield. Hit n runs deserve no less than a severe beating on top of having to pay ALL the charges.

Rep Power: 0 Sorry to hear that, I know how you feel since the same thing happend to me about a month ago. I even had the guy's license plate number, but the police are taking a long time with my case, and in the end I doubt they will even charge the guy (based on what the cops told me).

Rep Power: 0 K, insurance called and said i'll have to pay my 500 deductable, but they will cover everything else, but first the appraiser has to look at it and estimate the damage. Then they will cut me a check and i can use it to pay the body shop. Here's what i'm thinking now. I'll probably need a new trunk, tail lights, and bumper,so.....how about doing a 2004 Acura EL tail light conversion? Get EL trunk, tails and bumper. It should just bolt right on correct? Telly i need your input on this man....the 2004 EL lights looks soooooo sic compared to a civic sedan's tails. Telly......

Wow, to each their own like I've said. I personally dislike the EL lights - mainly because of the chrome that encompasses it as well as the fact that it just too much. Hmms, I'll try myself and compare light-sockets with my EL coworker tomorrow - I think it should bolt right on. The bumper is similar as well (just not the front bumper), so they should be the same (Acura vs Honda). I don't know, I thought you were looking at CF trunk before? Or did you not like the unshaved look of it that much?
