How many passengers

Hey all,

This may sound like a weird question but oh well

I dont usually have passengers in my car and when I do it is usually only one other person.

However, on sunday I am drivign 4 guys from St Catharines to York U and we will have some luggage. (fairly long trip)

The weight of us is 150, 140, 180, and 180 lbs and some luggage.

My car is a coupe and has H&R sport springs on stock struts and a kaminari kit.

Do you think there will be any problems? I am really not sure and didn't think about it b4 I volunteered to drive.

Thanks

JD

the back will tuck a lil' bit and i dont know how low your kit goes (I have the OEM) but i thinlk you should be fine..

I had 5 adults in my sedan with neuspeed sports and the rear was tucked a bit, but that was all. Depending on how low your kit is, it should be fine.

I played a gig once and hauled:
2 PA speakers (about 4 ft tall, 100+ lbs)
2 turntables with cases
2 CD decks
collection of CD's
5 crates of records
my sub box in the back
my buddy ~200lbs

All in my EL dropped on H&R Sports and stock shocks. After that gig, I decided to save for coilovers.

"it's not recommended that you have too many passengers in the car" is what the guy at Speedtech told me after he installed my neuspeed sport springs. said the i will rub if i hit a bump.

i drove to mississauga to downtown once on stock suspension in my '02 sedan, with 5 people(including me). i weigh 215. the other four people 190, 115, 250, and 285. that's a total weight of 1055 lbs. on the dip after the bridge before you get to The Docks i bottomed out and scraped my midpipe. i was only doing 60 and this was STOCK suspension. I'd hate to think what would have happened if the car was lowered.
