I will be doing this next summer hopefully the engines will come down in price a bit by then, So far the best deal has been JRP in MIssissauga at 9500 bucks. I know its a little pricey but they have done this many times and say that the swap doesnt take that long as it gets easier with everyone they do (get the bugs worked out).

Heres the ENJO mounts apposed to the hasport mounts:

Part Number: EM02

Product Name: Engine Swap Engine Mounts

Category: Engine Swap Engine Mounts

Price (USD): $399.00

Application: K-SERIES INTO 02+ CIVIC Si (SiR CANADA)

Description: The ENJO Precision Products™ – Platinum Series™ EM02 engine swap mount kit provides precise, 100% bolt-on installation of K20 and K24 engines into the 02+ Civic Si (SiR Canada) with no welding required, while offering adequate hood and power steering clearance. Made from top grade steel, which absorbs and transfers power, these mounts are laser cut and jig welded to ensure fitment accuracy. Following a 21-step quality control program, the lightweight mounts are e-coated, then powder-coated in silver for maximum durability and robotic mig welded for quality consistency. ENJO™ engineered polyurethane inserts offer firm support, while minimizing vibration. Each engine swap mount kit includes a complete hardware kit. All ENJO™ engine mounts are capable of handling up to 700 WHP and are backed by a lifetime warranty.

Includes:
- Engine Front Mount
- Transmission Mount
- Rear Transmission Mount
- Complete Hardware Kit
- Instructions
- Warranty Card

And also the drives (i believe these are correct, stage 2 w ABS):

Part Number: DS02-2A

Product Name: 300 WHP Stage 2 Drive Shafts (w/ABS)

Category: Engine Swap Drive Shafts

Price (USD): $849.00

Application: K-SERIES INTO 02+ CIVIC Si (SiR CANADA) (300 WHP W/ABS)

Description: The ENJO Precision Products™ – Platinum Series™ DS02-2A engine swap drive shafts provide precise, 100% bolt-on installation of K20 and K24 engines into the 02+ Civic Si (SiR Canada) with anti-lock brakes and have been designed to handle up to 300 WHP (on street tires). Assembled under a 28-step quality control program and using only the highest quality materials, such as high temperature neoprene or silicone boots, synthetic grease, 4130 chromoly constant velocity joints, oversized tripods, aerospace high tensile stainless steel bands, and 4340, 300M, induction-hardened, double tempered center bars, ENJO™ drive shafts offer unsurpassed reliability, while preserving everyday drivability. All ENJO Precision Products™ drive shafts are specifically designed to handle the extreme levels of abuse caused by high horsepower forced induction applications under race conditions and are track-tested and proven to perform on the street and in various forms of racing, such as road, rally and drag racing.

can you look up and tell all of us here where i said that JRP has the engine mounts? i dont giva **** who you are or where you are our who you think you might be, i surely dont believe that you are the only people that JRP recomends if you are who you say you are. I have had many recomendations from JRP. Unless your all of them then what are you talking about?

The engine is 6500 anywere you look
the mounts at least 600
labour approx 1200
wiring harnesses 400

thats 8700 alone: plus tax is about another 1305 which brings this too over 10000 bucks. what about the subframe? axles?

A couple of shops i talked to said you couldnt do it for under 12000 "SpoonCivic" a dood on here had it done and it costs him 10000 and 2 months in the shop (search man). If your shop can do this for less than the above which is less than anyone else.. please give us all a qoute so we can call you... hay thanks man!!! lookin forward to hearing from you...!!!

Alright cowboy calm down... All i am saying is that JRP does NOT do any mechanical work. We do most of it for them... We have done the swaps over and over again for less than $9500... ps you can find all the parts for the swap excluding mounts for less than $5000...

1llmatic will become famous soon enough
engine comes with subframe.

$10000 is about right for the swap (all parts and labour)

Defcon is doing one right now.

my apologies, i have spent too much time on honda-tech

anyhow, i know JRP does not do the work but recomends shops. They quoted 9500 ballpark. Just how much can you do this for? What i dont understand is that if 90% of the shops cannot do it for less than 10000 how can you do it for less?

Heres a reply to one of my ealier posts from a guy that had done this, 11 grand:

"Alright, here's the deal...I have the k20a swap in my 02 civic and believe me, it was more work and money then i had ever expected. There are many problems you will probably run into, as i did. I've spent around 11g's to do mine. And 2 months in the shop. If your seriously considering on doing this swap, im me ..."

a K20a is the integra type R motor. This motor will be more expensive than a domestic motor such as the type S model. Here a piece of advice... Dont look for a motor at japanese used auto parts places... Look at junkyards. I once found a Type S motor for a customer plus everything else i needed for the swap from a wrecked 02 type S for $4100. Junk yard owners havent caught on yet that these motors are being swapped into other cars much as the b-series are. So take advantage of that... but the longer you wait to buy a motor the more they'll go up in price from the junkyards...
