There is a sensor in the seat. If it is unplugged when the ignition is turned on, you will turn on the SRS light.

No biggie, i've had my SRS light on for almost a year now. Took out my factory seats and put in my new racing seats, and now i have my stock seats in again cuz of the winter, and i gotta put the racing ones in again. There is a DIY, but it's kind of a pain. I'd get the dealer to do it if they can.

Depends on the dealership, my friend got his done when he was in for routine service. On your next oil change just say your srs light is on and they will reset it.
