Keep in my mind that my car is lowered, I can fit two fingers between the wheel and the wheel well.
If one person sits in the back I can't even fit in one finger, so Im assuming that this means my shocks have blown. However I dont have the cash to buy koni's or kybs or tockios and I obviously will not buy oems shocks becasue they will blow again. So I wanted to know if those perfomance shocks that are sold at Canadian tire would solve the problem of my rear dropping so far and if they will last longer then oem.
Thanks for the help

The springs are used to control the amount your rear drops... and how far your car goes up and down when you hit a bump.... furthermore.. it controls how far your car nose dives in hard braking.
The shocks are used to control the rebound of the bouncing of the springs... the shocks are dampers when you hit a bump and your springs are bouncing like mad. Furthermore.. it controls how MUCH your car nose dives in hard braking.
If your car's *** end is sagging when people are in the rear... there's nothing wrong with your shocks. That's your springs giving way. When you hit bumps and your *** end won't stop bouncing up and down... and it looks like a french maid ****ing.. then we have a problem with your shocks.
Hope that helps.

if there's no finger gaps when your friends sits in the back seat, it doesnt mean your shocks are blown. it just means that there is weight in the back area........ *hence, friends sitting in the back sit
ways to know if your shocks are blown is if the rides suddenly feels a lot rougher... or check if the shocks are leaking, if you know how to check.
if you have aftermarket springs.. without aftermarket shocks... it'll feel rougher then the stock springs b/c of the spring rates.

is this your first time dropping a car? yeah, these guys are dead on...your shocks sound fine...what kinda springs you put in?
neuspeed or h&r sports? just curious...lower spring rate will cause what you're talking about
