If you want it spotless this is how you do it...

-Go to GM and ask for their "Engine shampoo"
-Apply the stuff and you'll be extremely happy with the outcome...

Trust me!

I bought a whole bottle of Green Stuff from Can Tire, but haven't used it yet... My buddies think I'm nuts, cleaning the bay of a car that's only 3 years old....

Especially since I bought the rust proofing from the dealer...........

What should I do?! Wash it all off?! (When it gets warmer, like summer!)

I got one engine shampoo at formula honda a while back for about 20bucks or so. They did a pretty good job, that's if you want just a basic engine shampoo.

I just used Simple Green and a hose this past summer. Too bad I waited till after DKN - when the guy came to judge my ride, I was too ashamed to pop the hood.
