brand doesnt matter, at least not for our civic (too low hps to take effect for performance). i just get some nice inexpensive 4G speaker wires headlight are alot less dim when i crank up audio and save a little gas, cant feel anything improve for accleration though

that's false information....

brand and type of wire matters....

a wire is not just a wire....

a DIY is not dyno-proven...the plastic shielding of speaker wires were not designed to withstand the high temperatures in the engine bay, thus increasing the likelyhood of melting and catching an engine fire. If proper shielding is not used, high heat is transferred and when metal is heated, conductivity lowers, therefore losing effectiveness. That's why there aren't any documented or dyno-proven results from speaker wires.

What you pay for is what you get and what you get is what you pay for. Get no headaches for doing it right the first time.

Talk to Bridge_Msport about a grounding kit. He's in the GTA and his kit is tight. He markets it here in on the site as well. Check out the thread Custom Machined Central Ground System

I got the kit this week and it's really good quality.

SiRB16: You're absolutely right about the wires. **** stuff does just that...****.
