Rob's Birthday Party/ Tech Day #1

Everyone who plans to come, send an email with your forum username, real name and a phone number and Andy will send you his address with stupid easy directions and his phone number.

Install/Tech day
We've done this before, All typical rules apply
1. Bring your own tools and jackstands
2. You can get help, but you're responsible for checking everyone's work. Its your car, no one else is responsible or accepts any liability for it.
3. Be courteous to the rest of the neighborhood, we dont like the cops.
4. If it cant be done in a couple hours, dont plan on doing it.
We'll probably BBQ and what not, bring CASH, preferably small bills so we can take a collection and go buy food and drinks.

I got invited by a buddy of mine that used to work for Honda corporate I think he is working for GM now but were going with another friend of his that was an A aperature body mold and tooling designer for Mercedes Benz Technology, we will be there on friday the 15. But like Justin said the D.C. show sucks we might see one or two prototypes here but thats only on a really good year everything else is just what you can buy in the dealership.

Damn, sounds like you're excited. One more year closer to 30, I'm totally not looking forward to that. There's a big difference between twenty something and THIRTY.
So what's the deal, when we doing this? Soon, I hope, the engine swap will be taking place soon. Oooh, there's an idea, maybe we can do another tech meet with an engine/tranny swap....

im not THAT young. i havent seen or talked to any of you guys in a while and this random thread comes up? I agree with andy, we should have another tech day... to measure pipes for my DP and IC 
not to mention taking a look at my konis 
one issue after another . god this cars going to be nothing but a money pit after its done lol.well, figure out where you guys are going for robs birthday and uh, i might be able to "turn 21" by then ...

Edwin always talks about the karting. I know some other people who have done it too... the thing is that it may be expensive. We'll have to see what happens.

Ive gone karting with them and IIRC its like 17 or something like thatfor a race and you can buy a membership for like 50...which gives you a slight discount. Its a little pricy but its fun when you go as a group.
