DC Area Spring Meet 2007
It seems to take short of forever to put these damn things together, so I'm gonna put this out there WAAAAAAY in advance.
For those of you who missed the D&B thing... shame on you.
It was some good fun playing video games with everyone.
I'm gonna throw out APRIL 14, 2007. Thats the first saturday after Easter
Location TBD, but I'll throw out BBQ, maybe in one of the parks on the GW parkway (Turkey Run or Fort Hunt or something), thats pretty good neutral ground for both the VA and Maryland Peeps.
Now begins the 3 months of fighting over what date and place is actually good.
Wait for it.....

hahah i wonder if anyone else will look at this.....
been a while since i looked at this POS forum. hope yall are having fun in the snow that is MIA in the Norfolk/VA Beach area....which we only got freezing rain
man thats one month away from my 21st bday....o well. its a mayb for now since school will be ending the 24th of april and its a good cram(sp?) time for exams. may do another come home for the weekend kinda deally i did for the last meet at D&B if im not busy cramming.
as for a date that would be good for me i have no clue but its def not the last 2 weeks in april b.c final exams are that week. mayb a good date would b around the first week or so in may since most will be done or close to. another good time i suggest is during spring break but not sure when everyone else's break is or if you working pplz can get off during a weekday.
place....uh i have no clue. we could go to MIR, buds creek for those who dont know where it is. mayb go to a gokart race track. bbq is fine with me as long as its warm out and jacket isnt needed. but those are suggestion i can throw out.
im really hoping by then my car(the vic) is safely in the clutches of my dads hands while i have a nice 2.5L boxter engine(wrx) at the grasp of a crazy asian. will be def arriving in that and will give rides/music to pplz who wants.

They're real good with WRXs..... its their specialty, and they'll pull some crazy power out of that thing. Just take care of the tranny.

(semi-shameless plug) Call Agile Automotive up north of baltimore. Tell them Justin sent you. They will ask who the hell I am, tell them that I've got the silver turbo Civic, they'll know from that.

They took my car and fuddled with it until it was right, and all the time they spent fricking with it until they figured out why it wouldnt run right, which most places would love to charge you for anyways, they didnt charge me for. I only got charged for the tuning once they had the e-manage (which no one around here even wants to touch with a 20 foot pole) program settings working right. This car is a feeler project almost anywhere, the fact that they took it, messed with it until it was right and were fair about it in not really making me pay for their learning curve... goes far in my book. They've done some other little things and I've never had an issue.
Then again, I drove to Massachusetts to get the turbo setup built, so maybe my mind is warped, but I dont think Bel Air is all that far.

there's mach v which is in arlington. they are good and are also a sponsor over at nasioc. i'm probably going to keep the car stock. i'd really like to drop it and get uppipe and downpipe, but that's money and illegal and.....i've run out of excuses lol.
but yeah, until i can get a job, the car stays stock.

All of 45-60 minutes from here. People go a lot farther than that to get a car tuned right. I have yet to find a shop down here that really knows what they're doing AND has a dyno. Good shops are tough to find. When their shop cars are 520 HP EJ25 Sti, a 510 HP EJ20 Sti and a 380 HP WRX (both STis are magazine featured cars)... I'd be goin' there with a Suby over a little drive. They know what they're doing with those EJs, and reliably.

good 1 hr from my house in NOVA but thats still not tooo bad. dont get me wrong im not saying hell to that place just dont dig driving to MD/Balt from NOVA. checking out that site looks like they are pretty damn good with subies. i really wish B and T Motorsports worked on Subies and had a 4 wheel dyno. always gave me good pricing on whatever i asked to be quoted.

My Spring break is the last week of Feb, and I'm out of finals may 12.
I guess just post em, and maybe something will line up.
As far as suggestions go... BBQ is a good idea, unless someone's offering their garage for an install day

thats def a step up...how much you get it for?
you need a HKS exhaust!
