For those who were wondering, I am fine, although I was in class in the building next to this all and have had a lot of classes in Norris. I have lost a few fellow civil engineering students in Norris 206 as it was the first room to be shot up. Lots of mixed emotions going on as it all unfolds, but wouldnt wish this situation upon anyone. Just pray for those families and friends who are dealing with these senseless confusing tragedies.

Unfortunately, Im gonna be in Panama City, FL from May 12 to 19th. So that sucks that I wont be able to make the BBQ unless the date changes. Ill check back. Take care.

I may be going to Lake Anna for Memorial Day weekend, but dont plan around me.....and BTW, the K-series is running strong other than a slight rattle in my resonator and a vertical radiator support that I busted months ago.....I had it on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the New River Valley this weekend heading to a winery and was following two new Vettes around some fun lengths of road...Good Times.....thanks for all the prayers and thoughts for the VT community, all I pray for now is a smooth transition and some normalcy in our campus life here (50+ news vans gets old quick).....

I think edwin and I have the motor swap under control.... Especially if his shop manager comes through..... I steadfastly refuse to change the HG this close to pulling the motor out. BUT, I do have a spare (i bought 2) if anyone happens to blow one and needs a spare ASAP.
Now I'm just waiting for my overbore slugs and the machine shop to finish the block, and my head is getting worked over now too. Its a matter of getting parts and finishing this bitch off.

Oh, the Vettes could have man-handled me, but I wasnt trying to play with them, just follow them to the winery. It was obvious that they were enjoying the roads as much, if not more, than I was. Great day I must say!! Oh yeah, Im also going through my DLC and ECU wiring to try to pass emissions. But my car runs fine just a diagnostics output problem.

Cant... rob said he's got a wedding, I hope to have a motor in and out of the car which means edwin is likely also out.
Next week is memorial day, which i have no objection to, the following weekend I have a wedding, then the week after that is ITR expo IIRC. Which makes June 17, which is Fathers day, then hyperfest at summit point, then my birthday (this is possible), then WMHM7, and then the following weekend I have a take home final to do.
So any time after July 20 is good for me
