maryland peeps - post disappeared?
Hey Vizyun: I went to Auto Image yesterday.... they look out of business! I had been there last summer but yesterday it looked out of business. I will check out No Limit on Rte 1. I found a new place today. CD Audio and Performance... 1009 B Edgewood Rd. its right at 40. I am going back there tomorrow when the informed people are there.

Yeah, Auto Image isn't much to look at, but they're good peoples. No Limit is nice. They'll both order pretty much anything you need. I haven't been to Auto Image myself in a week or two, because I haven't been buying much. I'll have to check them out this weekend. Either way, both of them will work with you on things.

Do any of you know where I could get a DC Sport Ceramic header for a good price. I did find a place where they said it was 250 but then i went back there and they said 299. So if there is a place cheaper then 299 please tell me. Thanks

The meet is going to be held in the White Marsh/ Perry Hall area (north-east of b-more city). We're meeting at the White Marsh Mall on July 20th between 12 and 1, then convoying to the park for a BBQ.

thanx Viz
i took some pics today of the enclosure i was going to use
im going to still finish it and use it but down the road im going to finish the back seats one
my friend made a good point to me today about putting it in now
then when i have my tint done " how are they going to get to the back window without stepping on everything?"
i guess i'll just work on it, finish it, and put it in the basement until im ready to install it
as for the box i still need close off that bottom part, get carpet and plexiglass. was thinking of puttin mirrors in it but not sure

what type (size and brand) of speakers are you putting in the custom enclosure? If you don't mind me asking. It looks like its going to be tight..... keep us posted.

it's a 10" jensen 450 watt speaker with the 2 " thick foam surrounding
it sounds pretty good too and i only paid $15 for it.( a friend)
down the line plan on gettin the 700 watt audiobahn that i wanted but i couldn't pass up that deal.
i don't plan on putting more than one sub in my car at the time
i bought the plexiglass today and my bypass vavle for my intake arrived too
now i can put that K&N filter on.

That sounds like a pretty good set up. Are you experienced in making custom enclosures? I may need some help when I cross that path. I have big plans for my civic, but I haven't gotten to the I.C.E. yet.

not really
i just read the one for the trunk in the DIY section
i gave me an idea of what was needed so i'm just applying it to what I'm doing
if it doesn't work out then no hard feelings. My friend got the MDF for free.
my father had all the tools. All i paid for was chaulking, plexiglass and weatherstripping which totals less than $15. only experience I've had is shop and i took in the 8th and 12th grade

Hey,
I'm live just outside of Bowie in Crofton, MD. I'm looking for a place to do some custom work on my 2002 Civic. Does anyone know of any good places in the MD/VA/DC area? I'm looking to get a new front spoiler, a new rear bumper, and some side skirts painted and installed. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Brandon

Hahaha, sorry man. I can't really help you out. But, if you talk to Vizyun or Robbclark1 they might be able too. They are both from the Baltimore area....which I believe isn't too far from Crofton (the devil town!)
On a side note: check out the Baltimore meet thread and come!!!!!

yea we can definitely tell you. You just take 695 and I believe it is exit 43. There will be a link in my, Vizyun and Robbclark1's signatures when the web site Mexius is making for the meet is done. Any questions--post in the meet thread!
