hasn't been a post in here for a couple days.
well i'll sya something[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
i had a good weekend. i did another fashion show and got a lot of good reviews and compliments from people. got a couple more coming up this month and looking forward to them seeing as thou all the stress is gone now that i have made most of the clothes and can get back to modding my car. thinki might purchase some struts bars this week but wont have'm b4 the meet on Saturday[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 has anyone around here been to the Mason Dixon Dragway in Hagerstown, MD? I drove by it on saturday when i went to get my oil changed (at Hagerstown Honda) and i saw some ppl doing some runs there.
i just thought it'd be cool to go there sometime and watch some drag races....maybe even actually race there eventually
their web site says that from March to November they are 'OPEN TO ALL Street Cars, Imports , Race Cars & Motorcycles & Sleds'...and the entry fee for Street is like $25

Rep Power: 413 I haven't actually be there SEth, but I have driven by it. Usually when I went by it was alot of American hot rods and muscle cars. I don't know if there are many imports out there. I have definitely driven by. My friend used to race there with his neon. That would be closer to you than MD Int. Speedway. Go check it out for us and give us the scoop.
Maverick helped me with my header and intake this weekend. I love the sound and I got some gains out of them!! That is all I will probably be doing this year besides some small stuff.

you mean you've raced there before? how much did you have to pay to get in?

. . . Hey Robb, when you say team, you mean your club, or what? I've been trying to find a decent car club in the area for a minute now, and I actually did get in touch with some people from Nice Dreams CC in Aberdeen (http://www.nicedreamscc.com). They seem real cool. One of them owns a body shop in Aberdeen (there's links on the website), and he does nice Chameleon body paint, as well as airbrush and body work. His name is Keith. Only one person in the club has a civic, and it's a 97, but all their rides are nice, and the person I've been corresponding with (Jenni, the Secretary and owner of the blue and white blazer) has been really helpful in finding places that do interior work and whatnot. However, if I could find a club that deals more with imports and compacts exclusively, it wouldn't be a bad thing, ya heard?
BTW, I'll be at Carlisle at least on Sunday. The wife's working Tuesday thru Saturday now, and she wants to go just as much as I do. I went to their site online and they sent me a brochure with the schedule of activities for days events. Looks like the best day to go is Saturday, but Sunday is still cool for me. . .

Rep Power: 413 Yeah I just joined Pi-Motorsports. I don't have much on my car now, so I am kinda stock. My team is good, they live up in bel air tho kinda far sometimes for me, but they are nice. There is someone with a 2k1 sedan slammed, tsunami bumpers, RS grill, I/E/H. U seem really cool, can't wait to hook up and talk shop since I am kinda new to the scene!

Better yet, you can go on the site and get a user name and password and post a message on the message board. When I am in Frederick, I always see 2k1/2k2 Civic's driving around and it kills me cause I feel like I should know these people. Like tonight for example. I was on my way to babysit (gotta make some money some how) and in the parking lot of CVS on 26, I see an Inca coupe with tint, rims and I think, it was lowered. So, we have to do something about this. Can people please post exactly where they are from and what color car and stuff you have, like mods? I wanna know if I see someone on the road from this forum. So I'll start it off.....
