<< i have met a few people, but most aren't centralized in MD. It is funny that most of the people on this site live everywhere but the center of maryland. I met simplyslb, puff, maverick is my car club, izmaxx, and will meet speedracer32 and vizyun when i help them clearn their lights. I heard lots of the races at the metros have been gettin shut down. If you want to hook up email me. There is a car show up in carlisle, PA may 3-5 if you want to go. >>

hey rob
when are you and Vizyun planning on meeting?

Yes, I do have springs..Progress..got them from Autospeedracing.com for like 120 or 130. They list at 1.8 drop, but it looks more like 2...in my experience. The ride is still smooth, not bumpy at all. The only difference is you feel the bumps more, so I avoid them when possible or slow down. Best ride I've ever had on springs and I plan on getting Koni yellows anyway, which will take the bite out of the bumps and make the ride even smoother. The biggest plus is that it handles better, and I plan on gettin Neuspeed Tower bar and sway bar to tighten it up even more. Thanks for the comments, glad you like it. Peace!Autospeedracing This is the link to their site, when I ordered them last year, they weren't listed on their site, but in an ad in Super Street or HondaTuning mag...Just call em up. Also check with Rob at Tornactive.comTornactive He's got great deals, great service, and fast shipping. Have Fun!

<< Great...more new people in Maryland. Just kidding people! But still, no one has owned up on the Inca coupe I saw like a week ago. I wanna know who's car it is...I think 2k1/2k2 owners should be required to visit this site.

Ahhh, and twice I have seen a green coupe with altezzas in Frederick.....is that anyone's car? One more thing-I can't believe I never see any of the other Frederick people on the road. Where you kids hidding?
>>

I saw an inca pearl coupe on 140 in westminster last weekend w/ carbon fiber hood & carbon fiber altezza's. It looked like it had more, but I was parked and didn't get a close look of it going by. When I was in Frederick Xmas shopping at Best Buy, I saw a Black coupe lowered w/ Konig Tantrums and the Black Widow Body Kit. I was drooling.

There is a guy on here from Frederick that works at Best Buy and has a black coupe. It's lowered, has rims...could be tantrums (not sure), he has carbon fiber altezzas (I think!) But, as of what I know...he doesn't have the BW Kit....who knows, could have been someone else of course!

I saw a red coupe in the parking lot of FSK mall yesterday. All I could catch on it was carbon fiber altezzas (maybe?) I also saw a blue coupe monday night when we were leaving Wendy's...damn I must be addicted to Frosty's. I know it wasn't Slikor cause he has the 7thgen sticker, I didn't see it atleast.

There are tons of 2k1's around here.....not too many on the forums though

Hey Robb, thanx for the help with the lights. What ever happened with your gauges? Did you finally repaint that section on your intake? Haven't been on in a while. New job's PC is on windowsNT (:barf, so I can't use AIM. Migrating to 2000Professional soon, though. Probably be back on Monday, don't have too much to do. Wife loves the cleared lights. For about 5 minutes, I had her convinced to take my automatic sedan and let me buy a manual coupe (), then she changed her mind (read: admitted to lying) and said she wants another Mitsu Galant(:cry, Oh well, I guess once I change the engine and tranny, I'll have one NASTY-AZZ sedan!!!! I'm going to Audio Connection today to buy my new shifter, then I'm hitting up home depot to get the hinges for the trunk. So let the peeps at PI know I'm gettin' right! (Note: just made some calculations. . .gettin' my 18's in JULY!!!)

Maverick, nice ride. Hear you're an ex-MARINE. Ex-Army, myself, but gotta respect Marines. . .you guys are HEAVY DUTY. Robb was telling me you recently got your LCD screens installed. . .SWEET!!!! Can't wait to catch up with you. As earlier, looking to buy rims in July, body kit in August, custom paint probably in September (anyone detecting a pattern?:shady. Now if I can just strike a balance between my car and my gamecube, I'll be good to go (mental note: figure out way to mount Gamecube. . .IN CAR)!!!

Now I'm ordering a se t of Sparco Torino racing seats...yes, Sparco...I'm gettin wood just thinkin about it. I need to get a set of those OBX Rear upper and lower, where'd you get yours and for how much? Notice a difference?
Vizyun, got my wheels at Wheelmax.com, highly recommend them when you go wheel shopping and I got the bumper from dasfx.com for 350 shipped. Painted along w/ gril for 150. Yeah, I'm an ex-marine and although we always talk shiznit, i give you guys props. I worked with some nice ones in Saudi and Africa and a couple of other armpits. i got my bars off of ebay from SSautochrome
they had a setup for the front and rear upper. my front bar didn't fit cause of the intake but they told me it would so they sent me the rear lower one for free
they are good people to buy from. very fast shipping and good communiication
the setup was like $52, $70 shipped and the rear lower one cost like 24 on ebay i think.
i haven't installed the rear lower yet so i can't really say to much about handle

where did you buy yyour Nuespeed front uppper from and how much?
because that's what i'm getting and i think tornactive is the only one who has it the cheapest

Vizyun i tried to trick out my trunk 2 weekends ago. all i did was drill the holes and scrue the hinges on but the hinges started to beend when i shut it so the backof the trunk stuk up when it was shut. so i sigest that you weld or at least sauter. im probably going to try agein next weekend. on another note i shaved my emblems.

Did you use the locking pins for the lower half of the swing arm? I found some at a dollar store here for a dollar (of course). I haven't found the hinges I want to use yet, can't seem to find any that will screw properly into the arm and trunk lid. I think the locking pins are what are supposed to keep the trunk from bending up. Can anyone confirm?

no, i have the hinge kit to do it, but the hinges seem kinda flimsy. i'm not real sold on doing it yet, as i have no super impressive audio equipment back there, don't really care for people to look at my completely empty trunk...though will soon have upper rear sway bar lol

I'm planning on getting my hinges from Home Depot, I just have to find a set that will seat properly. I already have everything else I need except a drill. Hey, I'll be taking MAD pictures at Import Eurasia this weekend, so I'll try to upload them next week sometime. I'll see if there are any 7th gens there.
Looks like I might not go to Carlisle next week after all. Oh, well, at least this one will be indoors, and I'm going both days.

Anyone in the area got a drill I can use?
