Rep Power: 0 Are you supposed to have to strain to pull them open, or is there a way to loosen the black stuff up?

Hmmm...strange hearing that from a guy who haven't made me clear his lights yet!!! >>
The reason being that I have heard it before. That is why I know what to do with the blow drier and heat gun. Also why would I let you touch my car Joe, when your right headlight leaks. I am not crazy sorry.

Rep Power: 388 Heat it and take an exacto knife and gently slit it. Then strain and pull apart. it is definitely easier with two people. If you can't get it. I live in baltimore if you want some help. PM if you need it. PEace

Rep Power: 0 Dude, I think I read here somewhere people are using ovens.
I think this is how it goes (search for confirmation) : Pre-heat your oven to 250 degrees for 5 mins then put your headlights in it for another 5 mins. After that all that gooey stuff will be so soft you won't have to use a heat gun or hair drier.
I used a hair drier on mine and I tell you, it also heated my fingers!
BTW, don't believe civicdude. My lights don't leak nor fog as long as I stay away from the automatic car wash!!!
