Umm, he dented my rear fender, door, front fender, and ripped off my mirror. The paint was gone so I had to report it.

Did you get the bus driver's insurance information? I would think whatever city or county he was driving for would have to pay for it.

Yes, that's why we were there.

Here's the deal now. This Auto Body Shop is like an authorized shop or whatever for the girl's insurance company. I don't believe that the insurance company will have to send out their adjusters since they are authorized. Right now I am waiting for the insurance company to send me the forms, which I will fill out and fax back. Then the insurance company will give this auto body shop the ok to start the work. Then it will take them a week for the parts, and another 2 weeks for the work. So all said and done I'm looking at this place having my car for 5 weeks while I'm still paying insurance on it. It has all ready been over a week and practically nothing accomplished so I figure I'll have my car by February.

I have dealt right through the girl that hit me's insurance company. I figure the less my company knows the less likely they are to raise the rates...

The bus wasnt working for the city, it was a rented tour bus for a company in the midwest while the bus was rented from Texas. It was a pain in the ***.

Sorry to bring back a somewhat dead topic, just want to keep everyone informed if your interested. I got the Estimate today from the shop. It is quite a bit higher than they first said. It is $10,000. Thank god it's the girls fault. Their first estimate they just said 2-3K. Guess there was more damage then they thought?

Her car is 5,000 worth. If I'm by there I will try to take a pic of it. They are waiting on one more part that supposedly is a little out of the ordinary so it takes longer than the rest to get. Once that happens they think it will be about 2 more weeks. It's all ready been 3 1/2 and no work has started. I just can't get a break cuz the damn holidays screwed me over too adding extra time.

Just found out today after 7 weeks that the car is totaled. Can't be fixed. It took them til now to realize. Stupid ****s. **** the world. Didn't even have my system in a month before this **** happens. Everything bad always happens to me. Screw this. No I gotta go look for somethin else to buy. Hopefully insurance pays enough for my old car of course they won't cover the extended warranty I paid 1000 for or the 750 or whatever it was to have ID numbers etched into everything.

Sorry for the cursing if it's not bleeped. I'm very pissed right now and need to ****ing slam something,. :'(

Didn't end up getting the Mazda3. Got a VW Jetta. It's sweet as hell. Leather interior, premium wheels, dual exhaust, chrome tipped. Heated, power seats. It's red. I'll take pics tomorrow and post em.

Now, I don't know if I should stay here anymore since I don't own a 7thGen anymore. And just think I bought those stickers for nothing, I didn't even get to put them on my car.

im glad your ok though
This is wrong. Your rates will go up no matter if it was your fault or not. I forget the term, but in NJ both insurance companies are liable for any accident regardless of fault. So will definetly rasie your rates and classify you as a high risk driver.

It's absolutley robbery and we need a governor that's going to try and fix this system. It's way out of hand.

Actually my rates were not raised. We got into a whole dispute with them, about how nothing has happened in 17 years and we have been paying them, and how they now they want to screw us. We threatened to leave. I guess it will go up now because this is more a sportier car, and red I think might add more too.

ssm..
I drove a Jeep Liberty last night too. That was pretty nice, but not what I was looking for.

I love the Jetta, I'm disappointed I didn't look at them in the first place before the civic.

They wanted me to drive the Mazda Protege at the Mazda dealer, but I didn't like the way it looked.

You planning on another car or maybe a smaller SUV or something? The Mazda 3 was real nice, but more than I wanted to spend btw which is why I moved on.
