Tiny Little Annoying Dents

Hey y'all! I'm new to this forum... I hope I post this in the right section of the forum!

Everybody knows what I'm talking about...

Those small indentations that you see when the sun is shining on your car (or when you're washing your car and you notice the little darned dent)...

Being a perfectionist, they really **** me off... (sorry for the crude language ) I can't find a way to avoid getting these darned things on my nice new car... No matter how far off I park, someone always parks next to me and decides to be extremely rude and inconsiderate and slam their door into the side of my car (therefore leaving a dent).

What do y'all do to avoid these things. I'm sure y'alls cars are nicer than mine and you would have more of a heart attack if you found a dent in your car than if I found one in mine...

Maybe I'll just install an alarm system with a very sensitive perimeter sensor...

Is there any way to get these little buggers out? What do y'all do to avoid stupid people being rude?

ya, i know what u mean eLinux...i hate those careless people.
i have a pretty sensitive alarm, but i seem to still get dents.

to solve this problem i try not to park in an busy public parking lot, i try to carpool with my friends as much as possible. hehe

you can try takin ur car into a body shop, they can prob get it out.

oh you mean like the one my mom put in my car yesterday in the garage.... so naturally I got pissed and she couldn't figure out what the big deal is. If its not creased then you can get it out with paintless dent removal, if its got a crease in the center (most door dings do) then you're basically screwed unless you're willing to pay the body shop to knock it out. Get used to them, the skin of these cars is like a tin can.

If you are going the paintless dent removal way, see if you have a Dent Wizard in your area, someone leaned against my 03 EX coupe when it had 350 miles on it, now a body shop probably whould never spot it when trying to look for it. The job they did was absolutely flawless.

Wow they actually have a Dent Wizard in my area. Didn't think they would when I went seaching.

Do you have a rough estimate of how much it costs to get those buggers out? I have about three small ones already. I guess if it's best, I'd just wait a year or something and get them all out at the same time...not sure...

I'll probalby call 'em later today and ask them for a quote. I just wanted to have a rough idea, though, in advance to see how much it would cost me.

if they are on the same panel (door, fender, quarter panel) then it only costs $50

get a Ding King and do it yourself... only $20 a box for about 3-6 dents (some dents take a lot of pulls)

and alarms dont stop dents, unless there are robotic arms that spring out of the car and stop the car from getting dented.

Car Alarms are quite possibly the most Ignored things on the face of the planet.

Does the Ding King actually work? Most stuff I see on TV I don't trust.

NytRyder2k2 is on a distinguished road
My girlfriend got mad at me once and she punched my door and left a really big ding. Well after she felt bad so she bought me the Ding King. I used it and after, it made my big ding smaller but made another small ding. So my big ding turned into 2 small dings. Dont get it, just take it to a shop and get it removed.
