People I need your opinion...

Lookin to buy a car this week, lookin at two cars right now...ones a 94 Integra LS with b20 with about 40K on motor and 90K on chassisfor 6K...pretty decent condition, body is straight just needs new paint I guess....motor runs good and strong, umm....other car is 92 hatch with 96 ITR motor...motor has 50K chassis has 160K sellin for 7K yeah pretty steep huh? it needs paint job also its old paint...umm obviously the hatch right off back is quicker, but whats a stock jdm b20 run in integ? and what would it take to run about high 14's? or low 15's or so...? IM leanin more towards b20 just because I my buddies told me slap Vtec head on it and ill be runnin real quick lookin pass ITR's what you guys think? What car should I go for, also I think 7K is steep and plus ITR looks nicer to me...I think after new paint job and new seats etc in integ looks nice...

i would go for the hatch. just gut the rear section and it'll be so much lighter than the teg. u should be able to run high 14s with just some bolt-ons and upgraded trans w/ gutted rear.

The Hatch should be runing in the 14s with just the ITR swap. With some weight reductions and a few bolt ons it will be in the 13s. Get the hatch. A guy I knew has a 92 teg wit a B20 in it. The motor was a tq beast, but didn't last to long due to really high revs and the stock block not designed to hold it. He had to rebuild the block. Get the HB. You will love it.

yeah well, i wanna get the hatch also but...7K is steep and he is firm on that price...he actually wants to make it 7500 so hes thinkin bout it, and the b20 integ will go for 6K flat and das not bad since it is old car i would assume the hatch would be lower, basically sellin motor and little extra money on car ya know but we will see...ill keep u guys updated

a CRVTEC doesn't involve a simple head swap. however i would still go with the integra.
