Not sure how it made his car sound N/A. But 2 things to keep in mind, there ARE 10 second N/A civics. And second, his car uses turbo, which is technology, not displacement.

irrelevant in terms of...... people don't buy the fastest car they can get for the money. people buy what they want to drive. so cost is irrelevant in that sense.

What I'm saying is even if a 20k civic can beat a viper, and the civic goes "yeah and mine is cheaper", my point is who cares. Obviously if the viper driver wanted to buy the fastest car he could get for the money, he'd not have gotten the viper.

im with s2kman thats why i would NEVER buy a porsche to much money for not enough power. if i wanted to buy something that has power and luxury M3 is the way to go. plus porsche's are fugly to me except the 444k gt3 lol

Just because someone owns a performance car doesn't mean they bought it just for the power. Personally, I'd cruise around in an F355 Spider with the top down and just listen to that V8's glorious sound behind me all day long. Would I care that an 80k Viper or 20k Civic could outrun me? Probably not.

Its funny about the S2000. Not one car buddy of mine who rode in it thought it sounded like it was revving at 9000rpm. I guess they were expecting more of a strained sound at those revs...

I think what you ment to say was Trans AM, oh well.. BTW yes there is a difference between a V8 firebird and a Trans AM. Anyways I think what it all boils down to is matter of opinion, Id prefer to have a WRX STi for that matter I would take a regular WRX... I love those cars.
