This guy (Ron) gave me a ride in his built 2nd gen R/T. 11:1 compression, etc... Fully built motor, 3" exhaust..I'll get a mod list later..SOHC second gen Neon R/T. He dyno'd it to 163 WHP with secondaries that didn't work, and the car missing at 6900rpm+ (hits the limiter at 8100 every time in the vids...) Custom grind cams, etc... Freakin' nice car...

Anyway, without further adoooooo:

because some people find it rewarding to continually post topics about neons in civic forums. personally i think they have nothing better to do than register in a forum for a car they dont have and post about how neons are so much faster(granted they are, but still....) and just rub it in.

whatever floats their boat.

I don't believe I rubbed anything in. I didn't even mention a 7thgen..or spread NeonNazi propoganda. I got a ride in a cool CAR...Thought some people might be interested, and posted pics and vids. If you can't appreciate this CAR for what it is, then, sorry, you are not an enthusiast. You seem more like the resident flame-starter. This was an innocent post, about a pretty original and quick car. If you don't like it, then don't read the post....

Have a nice day..

I appreciated it... nice job on the car.

I don't get why some people get so hurt and offended when people even TALK about other cars on this board. Of all the boards I visit, this one is the worst when it comes to people bitching and moaning.

Tell your friend nice job on the Neon.

Haha yeah really...If honda made that car I bet your opinions would be way different. As for this neon, I like it a lot. Just lower it a bit more.

I like the look on the outside but I find it simply ghey to tear out your backseat in a Neon.

i really am not the resident flame-starter. just when you post?
lemme ask you this:

when a civic owner post the same type of posts in neon forums, dont the neon owners flame him for having a civic and for posting in their forums?

and if you say they dont they you are a friggin liar!

just trying to show you the there is a mutual competition between each of these cars and that you should accept that.

honestly man, not many people here care about neons, nor do they care that you post here. and that doesnt mean that they are igonrant, or are "not enthuisiasts".

but hey, if posting neon stuff in a civic place flips your light switch, then go for it buddy!

Nice ride! Looks like your friend put a lot of work into it. Where's the mod list though?

As for it being a neon on a civic site, I don't see any problems with it. On the front page in this forum I see a thread about the Cayenne, RX-8, Supra, and Acura CL. None of those are civics and I don't see anyone complaining about them.
