Why in the hell did they change the front...The J-Spec one has a different front, right....Its horrible........no duh its fast, but that front has got to go!

do u have a pic of the jdm front end to compare? it doesn't look that bad, has a nice sized opening for the intercooler to breathe

The first time I saw it at the LA autoshow I was like [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG] the front end has to go. Someone will be making some money selling JDM front ends for the EVO.

You want to know why they change it, because it has to comply with US crash test standards and they want it to aslo fit the look of the rest of the US Mitsubishi car line.

After you sit in it and feel the rush of the 270+ hp engine and AWD, anyone's opinion on the design will be pointless. All they'll be seeing are your taillights.

I dont like the front end i think the STI looks better except for the carzy hood scoop. The front mount intercooler for a STI is phat . EVO is a bad *** car but that front is Ugly as sin

I don't think that's the EVO... i think it's the 2004 model of a lancer with a trim between the rally sport edition and the EVO

No that's the new EVO.... Look in the grille at the intercooler.
I saw it yesterday at the Chicago Auto Show... that's what it's gonna look like. It doesn't look all that bad to me.

I used to think that the front was horrible for the Evo VIII but it has truly grown on me. The car looks stunning in person.

JSpec? Do you mean Lancer Evolution VII? THe Japanese Evo VIII seems to have the same front.

that front bumper and the tailights would be the first to go....i'd make it look like the ones in gran turismo 3...different upper grill and red taillights....i hate those "altezzas" it comes with...
