yeah, it did if it is an si vtec... if it's just a regular si, it's an h23... either way, the only thing better is the h22a in the newer preludes which would be a fine choice, however only 5 more hp if he has the si vtec already. I mean the k20a2 from the rsx-s has 10 more hp, but it's a different series and i don't know that it would be feasible... tell him to save his money and turbo-size that bad boy.

no need to swap if its an H22, turbo that and the kseries i highly doubt it would ift or even be worth the Hp, i would save up for the turbo on that thing

If he's really in the swapping mood he's better off swapping that motor into a civic crx, he'd be getting better gains w/ that power/weight ratio than the prelude would w/ any swap.

there is a lot of custom work need to fit a h22 into a crx. not worth it.
besides the torque sucks on it.
better of getting a b16 or b18 and getting a stroker kit.

H23 isnt too bad to turbo. I dont think it's a good idea to swap in a K series engine (K20) b/c youre losing displacement here. If you can, try for a JDM Prelude engine or Accord-R engine with 220HP.
