LX....or EX? I heard the EX went up in price....from 2002 to 2003. Sticker on an EX is around $17,500....I cant get one for around $16,000 from a local dealer....But why would you trade? You will lose sooo much money. If you want cool gauges, go get some indiglos.

If you want to trade you should trade in for a better car ....except your dealer give your LOT OF $$$ on your trade which I doubt. Bad move! Like civicdude said, get a nice indiglos and bezel you will be good to go.

RSXtypeIvtec is on a distinguished road
i think that would also be a bad move, you will most likely lose a lot on the 02, and since the 03 went up even more....
unless you can sell it locally for about the same price as a 03, which is kinda hard too....that may be your only chance
IMO i would never trade my car in to a dealer, since they rip your like no other!

dont trade in your car at dealer, u get less money. I suggest you sell your car at locally auto used dealer, then bring cash or whatevr to Honda dealer to get that 03 civic.

Q: why you trade 02 5speed for Automatic?..........

MIT is right.

Dont sell your car back to the dealer, they are thieves.

I was wondering the same thing....why would you want to get rid of your 5 speed for an automatic?

If you just like the gauge.. ( I DID TOO )

1. Go buy blue indiglo gauges ( I did this )

2. Go to the dealership and buy the gauges

3. If you have so much money floating around and you want to still keep a Civic and.. want the gauge... go for it.

5 sp > automatic unless you live in the heart of a very populated area.

U could get a new si for way cheaper than an ex....but you probably dont like them after all, mine is a slow *** car with shitty interior

All I have to say is www.carbuyingtips.com I know this may seem like a shameless plug, but I used his advice and got my HX for 14, this inlcuding 750 dollars of options. In response, I wouldn't trade your car in just yet, wait a few years, and then upgrade, once a new car is lincensed it loses like 10% of it's value immediatly, after that, the year to year depriciation isn't that bad for hondas. If you really need to upgade, I would sell your car 3rd party and then take out a 1.9% loan on a new civic, granted you'll only get this if you have a large down payment, or good credit, or both.
