its concern might be speed, but theres other cars besides the viper that can do speed better. spending that much money on a car that is supposed to go fast, but still rides like a harley on 4 wheels is dumb IMO. you know youre not gonna wanna sit in that car longer than the 10 or 12 seconds it takes you to finish the 1/4....so why would you wanna buy one?

everyone here says civility and comfort like theyre bad things...but you know you wont be able to live w/o them.

Money-wise, Corvette hands down. Viper is only slightly faster than the Vette for something that is $80,000. A brand new Corvette ($43,000 coupe) with a few mods would give a Viper a run for its money. There's a guy here with a Viper, he rides in the summer (I think, never seen him in the winter!) with top down and his head sticking out of the car cause he is tall. It's funny watching him drive [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] There's also a guy down the road with a 7.0 liter 700 horsepower Corvette with a 200 shot of nitrous that makes the Viper look slower than a horse carriage. It's basically a contest of personal interests. Nobody wins, they're both American.

If money is not the major concern here... give me Viper. The Vette doesn't do it for me. I'll spend the extra $30K on the Viper! Its the only American car I dream about.

Was Civic and option? Oh, well if I couldn't have my Civic, I guess I'd get the Viper just because it is less practical and more expensive.

VIPER hands down!! If you wanna look like someones dad or some other older individual get a corvette, but I viper is alot more unique. Corvettes pass you all day and some you look at some you don't. When a viper passes by whether you like vipers or not you can't help but look at it and say "DAMNN". Plus with all that power, you'd be on top of the world
