Extended warrenty?
Anyone know how much the extended warrenty is? and how long does it last? would I need to talk to Honda or is it different company. I still have 11,000 miles to go but wanted to get an idea of how much money I would need.

I don't know that I would even worry about it. If you think about it... an extended warranty is not really a warranty since you pay extra for it. It's like pre-paying for service on the assumption you're going to need it. You're probably better off just paying for service as the repairs come... since there shouldn't be too many big ones for many years.

I got 10 year 100,000 mile extended warrantee from Honda America (or whatever it is). This warrantee is good at any Honda Dealership and it covers everything that the factory warrantee did. It costs me $800 for it.

The cost depends on what coverage you get and can vary in price ranges...Call the dealer and ask them if they have extended warranties available for 'after the purchase'...I'm fairly sure that they do.
BTW...they tried to sell me a warranty that would extend to 5/75 for $2100.00...and I was like 'yeah right'...found out that the cost for this to the dealer was $675.00 and told them that they would only get my signature for this purchase if they charged me $775.00...If not, NO DEAL!!
Long story short...paid $775.00 for a 5/75

Just make sure you know what the deductable is, thay can range from $0 to $1000. I got mine though Gieco with my car insurance, its basically $3 a month, until I reach 100,000 miles, but the deductable is $200. I figured a $200 deductable isn't ot bad if my tranny fails or engine goes, its just a nice piece of mind
