cold weather solution

well i just dumped a bottle of Iso-heat in my fuel tank...

ok heres the deal with this product, it is supposed to keep the fuel lines from freezing, and make starting the engine in cold weather easier....

well i can tell you this works in that retrospect

so for those of you braving the -15 weather... try this out

I just bought some STP fuel treatment to clear up any water in the lines myself - I get rough cold starts sometimes so I figure I'll try that, get my battery tested, and see how everything goes. I hate not having enough time in the mornings to warm up the car

0 C = 32 F, and -40C = -40F. Do a search on celcius farenheit converter on yahoo, you'll be able to calculate it.

So like I was saying, it's been -40 here for the past 3 days!!! and huh, that's a high of -40 with the wind. During the night it probably drops to around -60 with the wind! It's absolutely insane!!!

blooey to the wind chill, wind chill does not affect cold starts anyway, it only affects heated bodies.... either way the wind chill around here has been around 20 to 25 below, everyone is in the same boat, even atlanta I heard is getting snow and cold weather....

Winters everywhere have been weird. We didn't even have snow at Christmas time, and usually we can expect about 3 feet by November. Although it snowed about half a foot this morning, which is kinda cool Not a big fan of the cold, though ..

Celsius / Fairenheit Conversion Table:

F = 9/5 x C +32
C = 5/9 x F - 32

Example: -40F = 9/5 x C + 32 --> -40F = 1.8 x C + 32 --> -72F = 1.8 x C --> -72F / 1.8 = C --> -40 = C --> -40F = -40C

So yes, -40 Degrees is where the two scales converge.
And that is your math lesson for the day. Thank you.

"I'm a scholar; People like me!!" - Some ghetto movie about drugs that I can't remember the name of. It was pretty damn funny though ...
