Warranty question about battery
Basically, how long is the battery covered under warranty. Mine is starting to get a little weak. It almost didn't start two days ago and did the same thing yesterday. Today it's fine. I almost needed a boost but it started after a couple of tries. Does anyone know?

Taken from my manual..
Replacement Battery Limited Warranty- provides prorated coverage for a replacement battery purchased from a Honda dealer.
Looks like you may want to call your dealer and mention that your battery is taking a dump, assuming thats the prob.

I think the batteries are only covered under warranty for 12 months, but don't quote me on that. I've had problems with my battery staying charged as well. I went out of town for like 4 days, and when I got back my car almost wouldn't start. The weather was warm and the car was only like 6 months old at that time. I would say just to invest in a better battery because the ones that come with our cars seems to suck. Plus, if you buy a new battery, they usually come with 5 or 6 year warranties. Then you shouldn't have any problems.
I just had to replace my battery last week, bc it is rated to handle 200 amps, and was dying when it was drawing 15 amps, needless to say i just went out and bought a larger battery. i dont know how the warranty works, but when it comes down to it, it was just as easy for me to drop the $80 for the new battery instead of going through crap with them. do you have a system in your car? at first my dads friend who is a mechanic thought it was that, but i have a capacitor for that and he realized the battery just wasnt charging....bu where im going with this is, if you have a stereo, honda is going to instantly give you crap saying its drawing too much power. id say just suck it up and buy a new one, and buy a larger one, bc the one honda gives is tiny.
