Both cars can get 60 MPG. Doesn't mean its for an extended period of time. They tell you how many mpg you get for the speed you are going and how much gas you are giving, among other factors. Not something you could base many things on other than driving style.

My 300ZX had a mpg gauge.......and it was made in 1985[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

edit: when I was coasting it would always read 99mpg(it was digital, not analog like those)

REALLY? so if i put my car in neutral on the freeway doing 80 MPH and have it idle, im still getting 0 MPG?

I got a new BMW and they most certainly do have MPG gauges. I have a new 3 series; it's actually built right into the tachometer housing.
