Ok, so check engine light right?

I put in my VAFC and my check engine light came on, I need to find the code, but I can't find the blue connector thingie, does anyone know where to find the ECU code reader on a 2001+ Civic?

Take out the passenger side kick panel. Then look under the glove box. See it? It's a C shaped blue connector. Too bad we can't read codes. We usually jumper pins A & B, but one of those pins is missing. The only way to read codes in our ECU's it to use an OBDII scanner.

mikalem is on a distinguished road
You need an OBDII scanner to read them, and I believe the connection is on the driver's side (it's a black plug) Sorry I don't have a picture of it, but I have the reader and I've read the ECU codes before with it.... you can get them for around 100 dollars, or take it to a dealer and they'll charge you around 40 - 50 to read it, and tell you to remove the VAFC for your trouble

lol. i don't remember what causes the exact error, other than I know it has to do with the VAFC and ECU not playing nice nice because of ODBII
