Heck if the beetle and the mini did it why not the civic? It would be the ugliest retro around... One area where japanese cars in general have finally worked on is exterior design, remember the eighties japs, sentras, corollas, civics, accords, maximas? If you take the badges off the cars most people can´t distinguish them.

To the guy that said Honda hasn't even started the project yet, you're wrong. Honda starts designing the concepts for the next generation shortly after the release of the 7th Gen.
