how many of you here have a 5spd and a remote starter?

have you had any problems w/ it?

what make and model are you using...how involved was your installation..

this topic has been covered MANY times, do a search.. anyways I have a compustar on my 5 speed and the remote start works fine, it has a safety that you have to leave the car in neutral and with the e-brake on, then get out of the car, the engine stays running until you shut the door. Then it could be remote started, it works fine and I am happy with it... If you leave it in gear with the e-brake on or off the remote start feature will be disabled to prevent the car from moving forward! I had mine installed at 5-star in chicago, about 500 with tax.... oh you need an extra key for the remote start so it can read the computer chip in it....
