i'm seriously considering swapping out my engine next spring.....by that time i should have the money...first of all the k20a that is going into venomscivic i believe said it costed 6000 plus there is more for like the harness and wiring and intall im sure.......whats a good guestimate on how much the total price would be.....and second......the k20a is what the rsx or integra type r has right?? and that is roughly 210 horsepower if im not mistaken. my other ? is i found and b18c which says 210 horsepower on the site i found it. for around 4000.....so which motor is better do u guys think if they are both at 210? and yes i did a search.....and yes i am dumb....but whoever could inlighten me i would

im guessing most of the swaps now, pretty much any engine..will cost roughly around the 10g mark...
im guesing the k20 will be easier to swap, since more people are now doing it, havent heard anyone do a b series swap besides the one from Taiwan.

If it were me i would go K20 less modification to fit in and the engine codes are different for the ITR and the RSX but the are in the K series

i think the B series are engines are illegal to swap.. or only certain years... i forget...

A b-series motor has not been put into our cars yet. For the K20 @ $6000 your looking at about $10,000 total with installation.

if yourgonna do that you might as well get an RSX Type R engine..you can find them online for about $6500..it's an 27 Horsies.. for the swap you need the negine, ECU, Tranny, Driveshafts and an RSX Crossmember..that is all.

For a B18 you'd need all the same parts minus the crossmember..but Custom engine mounts would need to be fabricated....either way your looking at 10g's
