The depreciation on a Camaro is absurd. An hour after you drive it off the lot it is worth 1/2 of the orginal value. Same thing with all American cars. At least I have the assurance that when I want a new Honda or Acura I can at least trade in my Civic for a down payment or something.

And the winner is the Camaro! If you don't like Chevy's spotty reliability on the Camaro then there's the Mustang GT. Even the Altima has a better power to weight ratio than the RSX. If you really want power, trade your car in for something with power people.[hr]

WTF are you talking about? In over 250K miles on my 4.6L there has yet to be a problem...

Depreciation on A NEW camaro will not be like that - ......I have the car insured for the purchase price for 2 years and after that I have a written guarantee from Chevy Canada that it will nto depreciate more than 20% (as long as I keep it maintained) - ...becuase of the 35th anniversary thing .....but I see your point....and I take that guarantee with a grain of salt
