im sorry, but

1) how could you spend 52000 bucks on a boxster? if MUCH rather buy an s2000 and have an extra 20 grand to put into it! can you spell supercharger and over 300whp?
2) nothing, absolutely NOTHING beats the sound of a b18c w/ a DC SPORTS exhaust at redline....has to be one of the most amazing things i have ever heard in my life...

Interesting you bring that up. The ferarri modena spider (360?) was the loudest engine from a production car up until 2000. At highest screaming rpms it hit 95 decibels. Then the S2000 came out... and hit 96 decibels. Personally... I'll take the engine noise from my S2000. I love the sound.

(before some redneck comes in here talking about stomping hondas and how his LS1 is so loud... the decibels are measured from the engine, not the exhaust)

yes i have heard a ferrari, ive driven a testarosa numerous times, a friend of my mother owns one....he is very loaded

and no, i still have to say that the b18c or c5 w/ dc exhaust (or a s2000) is the best sounding motor of all time.....the secondary intake manifold opening, and vtec engaging are ooooooo sooooo sexy.....the ferrari doesnt make those noises....the only thing i hear when i hear a car of that nature is money falling from the sky

I was next to a Ferrari 550 Maranello the other day while it was trying to parallel park. It would make a loud initial scream that echoes to the horizon everytime he changed directions. It's like nothing I have ever heard before. As for regular cars, my vote goes to this. Link

Mmmm turbo flat four...
