got smoked...my turbo sucks
i just got smoked my a MX5 turbo..damn he must had some sick turbo upgrade he was very fast...i took him off the jump but he caught up real quick and pased me..then i slowed down and he even waved at me..damn i got owned...

yeh i'm still runin on teh stock turbo 14b boosted to 1 bar..btu that guy was really fast ....he might have a TD05...which i am goin to get for chrismas...
btw..i have no idea wut they push stock but i am guessin atleast 190?

Mazda MX-5 Miata? Those things have 145hp stock at the flywheel, 121hp at the wheels.
The Flying Miata turbo upgrade puts then at 295hp to the wheels, at 14psi.

4G63 engine, stock internals, stock bov, apexi 2.4 dp, apexi N1 3' catback with the test pipe, (no cat) upgraded walboro fuel pump, NGK injectors wires and plugs, K&N air filter, hacked MAS, Joe P manual boost controller, Blitz boost gauge and a/f ratio gauge, blitz turbo timer, upgraded transfer case, symborski shifter kit, home made short shifter (haha i love that one), i also have a fmic but its been sittin in my garage for 2 months now too poor to go get the custom piping....thats pretty much my whole set up still saving up for that TD05 hopefullt i'll get it by chrismas...

I currently own a '90 miata and planning on doing a full blow turbo. If you say it was a '93 miata then it is pushing around 110-120 to the wheels stock. So he must have a nice size turbo to have smoked you. If you want to get some pay back on the miata just come find me, my car is slow.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG]

MX-6 Turbo?
Was it a 6 cylinder or 4 cylinder?
Up to 1992, the Probe GT & MX6 GT were turbocharged 2.2 liter 4 cyl rated (some say conservatively) at 145hp.
From what I hear, they aren't terribly difficult to modify for a little more power.
After 1993, the GT versions of both (they shared the same platform) went to a small (2.5 liter) V6 engine rated around
174hp.

u have a 14b its a td05 doh! u keep yackin like a td05 means someting.. thats just a turbo hosing...
