custom paint color suggestions?
I am thinking of getting my satin silver metallic 01 coupe repainted for 1500 dollars...do u think that's a good price? ...anyway... i was pondering on it for a few minutes and decided a dark pewter color might look nice...any suggestions? or examples of a dark pewter color from some other manufacturer? thx!

I'm thinking some kind of blue, light blue, like maybe a dark baby blue or something would look pretty slick. I'm not all into dark colored cars and stuff because they're just a pain in the *** to keep clean. You do know that to do a *real* paint job, you have to strip the car inside and out and paint it like that, right?
$1500 is a really good price if they are going to paint everything. Everything as in the door jabs, and in the engine bay. I am not sure what color you mean by pewter, but I am considering custom paint myself.

Get Gunmetal or Charcoal Pearl paint. With the sparkle stuff in it. it looks real good. My brother's Maxima is Charcoal Pearl, it looks great in the sun. only problem... it's as hard to keep clean as black.

Here's 2 (attached) well, 1 and a half.. I'll get some more close ups when I get home from work. Gimme a few hours. BTW... It's a Nissan factory color, so you could probably get a chip of it too. Called Charcoal Grey Pearl. It looks like Graphite in the sun, really cool.
I would keep myself to the Honda family colors, For a low key blue I would go with the Suzuka Blue Metallic, a new color on the s2000

if your into blue: electron blue pearl (99-00 si), suzuka blue pearl (s2k), or cobalt (dunno, but I'd give my left sac to see what our car would be like in this color).
if your ricey: yellow (like the bmw m5/3)
the grey on the pontiac thingy doesn't look bad either
