It's for charity. It's not a guy selling it. Check the Nissan front page. It has the auction there so it's probably sponsored by them. Check the name of the seller, nissan_z. It's sponsored by Nissan. It wasn't that hard to look shiz up. Think before you speak. It's not some guy, and they don't want $55K. The bidding started at $30K, which is pretty safe to assume that's around normal price.

yeah, i remember a 0...0001 integra type r on ebay and let's just say the seller made a nice profit and it wasn't for any charities. the z is a car with history, and owning a first example of history is not bad too.

If i had the money I'd buy it, sure there are better performing cars out there for the price, but to own the #1 VIN on a brand new production car would be a great investment if your a car collector. Park it for 20 years with no miles and see what you'll get for it then.

I believe Elizabeth Glaser is/was the wife of Paul Glaser. I think she died or got
real sick. Paul Glaser was Starsky in " Starsky and Hutch" if I'm not mistaken.
