GETTING HOSED AGAIN!!!!
well some of you read my post about a week ago on how a "rodent" chewed through one of my fuel injector lines, causing the PCU to fry and the wire harnes needed to be replaced... 1300 bucks... i got the car back TWO days ago, and what happens this after noon when I get in the car??? same vibration and rumbling.....
The dealership looks at it and says that a "rodent" chewed through a DIFFERENT fuel injector line!!!! can you believe it,>????? I have not heard another estimate, but I'm for god damn sure Im going to raise all holy hell when I get in there in about a half an hour....
What do you think - rodent or faulty manufacturing...???? I think FAULTY MANUFACTURING!!!!
-ps- sorry to rant, but its the only thing keeping me sane right now...

Damn, that sucks. You either have a bad rodent problem or a crappy dealer. I'm going with the second one. Sounds like a bunch of BS to me. I suppose the dealer figures that the rodents were just waiting for you to get your car back, so they could chew through it some more. I would definitely raise hell.

Man, since when do rats chew FI lines? I don't think they like the taste of gasoline. You are getting the proverbial D*ck up the a$$. Don't let them fvck you like that. You got to stick it to'em....not the other way around.
Dood, you should really start seriously considering getting a Honda mediator involved to look at your problem...I sure as he11 would not have paid the first $1300. If mediation does not work, take Honda to court--do not be intimidated.
the only rat problem you have is your dealer
edit: sorry, that was pretty corney. seriously try a new dealership. animals are not atracted to gas...

ya i agree, sounds like ur getting hosed! at the toyota dealership i wrk at we've replaced a wireing harness under warany because of rats eating through it before. try another dealer n c wut they say! ya and get the old harness back from them! another way is to call the honda head office n biatch, trust me a company like honda will want to keep thier customers happy n may pay ur bill for u, or cover it under warranty, but u gotta biatch! ok! otherwise u may as well go get a tube of vaseline and hand it to the service manager n tell him that'll make it easier for u!!!

lets think about this a rodent climbs to the top of the engine bay to chew threw a fuel injector line, now that is not the first line of ne thing on the way to the top, and then for it to happen again to the same thing, i think NOT, 1300 bucks and then it happens again, the dealer is robing u blind dont pay them again, dont take it to them again til u see what the chew looks like more than likely its gunna look like a straight cut mark when the mechanic was told to do that in order to get another 1300 bucks in the dealers pockets, i smell scandolous here, pay the lawyer 1300 bucks before u pay the dealer to fix something they broke
