Has anyone herd about this Levelten.com where u can change ur auto to a triptonic tranny liek in rally cars and porsches? It would be nice to have control over when my auto shifts and all of that but im jsut wondering if u can change the gear ratios with it to? Does anyone know anything about this? There website is not very informative. Thanks!

its a good idea... but imagine the costs... at least 5k right? but then ud still have to deal with our cool engines. then ud probably want to do a turbo when it comes out. another 5k? so lets say a new tranny and turbo together costs 10k plus. and the end result? u can maybe beat b18s...
imo its not worth it. id sell my civ and use that 10k plus to buy a better car.
just my two cents.

no doubt, tiptronic is fun, but not as much fun as a grippy clutch on a stick.

Dummy question:

What's a tiptronic tranny? I'm assuming it gives the driver control over when the automatic tranny shifts but ..

Push the shifter to the right and pretend you have a manual Bump up for going forward in the gears, and down for reverse...it's kinda cool, cause you can gain control of the shifting points in the car, but nothing beats a tride and true clutch pedal IMO
