what do you think?

Got a crazy idea. I searched first for this so don't blast the old man.

Was at the Summer Slam in Westminster last Saturday and had a great time. I was thinking about making the 1.7 perform when it hit me.

Research the possibility of a cylinder had swap from the 1.6! that was I could hang the supercharger or turbo on it that I am looking for. What's to stop the 1.6 from working on the 1.7? Hey they are dropping the 2.4 i-VTEC in the 2002 CRV for Pete's sake.

Thoughts?

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say its not gonna work, and that it would probably be easier to just do a b16 or b18 full swap.

Actually, I also researched this topic a little. The only head that would be worth swapping on our motors would be a DOHC head. And yes, I know everyone will flame and say there are no D-series DOHC motors and there never was.....BUT the USDM version of the ZC motor (the D16A6) which was found in the late 80s integras was indeed a D-series DOHC. The head off this motor can be found for $300-$400.
