RSX front conversion. How hard is it?

Hey guys, I was lookin at my friends rsx the other day, his car was right next to mine. They look similar in alot of ways but then they look alot different too. But I was wondering how much do you think it would cost to get the RSX headlights to fit our cars and then the front bumper and the hood. Let me know what you guys think or what have you heard.

they might look similar but i'm pretty sure you would still have to modify alot of things. it might be just as hard as doing any other conversion like s2000 or something... i guess no one will know untill they try, why dont you be the first and tell us how it is...

I say go for it! I am really into the exterior hybrids. I was just thinking today about doing a 1.7EL headlight and front bumper conversion on my 2k1 civic coupe. Find a good shop that does excellent body work and go for it.

DUUUDE!!!, i was soooo looking into this. From the appearance, the fenders do look to be the same size but this conversion isnt a bolt on like the jetta/golf conversion. i heard that it has already been done but that might be a rumor. this would look tight as hell on our cars so props to the person that does it. i think u would have to have your car in the shop for a while if u really want to do it.

This was the first thing I thought of when I bought my car. I wanted to do the front end conversion. I have since realized that it will NOT be as easy as I thought at first. I held a RSX headlight casing in front of my lights and its a huge difference than I first thought. I still think it is very possible, its just gonna cost some loot. Be the first, please. I am dying to see what it looks like!

if the frame doesnt need to be modified, it doesnt take much to do it. hell even I could do it! just me by myself!

if the frame has to be cut/modified in any way, forget about it. thats too much for one person, you dont see too many ppl who are metal experts and comfortable around glass enough for show work........

but its not too hard, assuming teh assemblies will bolt right in, that no cutting is required, and the brackets are the only thing that needs to be welded in....

why buy an rsc with that money??? cause IT WONT BE A CIVIC WITH AN RSX CONVERSION thats why. the purpose of conversions are to be unique and have a one of a kind car. this is the true meaning of show cars. i know that this car would get my attention more then any other car with just a body kit, rims, paint job.
