hmm, well my dealer says it's about $100, which stinks cuz i bought an addt'l warranty for about $750, and i thought since it was a $0 deductible, everything was free... But no, i asked them, you don't absolutely have to by the service for your warranty, they said it was "recommended", in other words, do it yourself, they don't really do jack anyway...
Truthfully anyone on this site shouldn't be taking there car anywhere and paying someone esle to do the work(i.e. somthing as simple as change the oil, rotating the tires, changing the spark plugs, the 10k check up is so simple. You can do just about anything in the garage with common tools) Believe me people I will take the money you are wasting at the dealer.

W/ all my past cars I have done all of the maintnance though.
It's not that I'm not capable of doing it.
It's just that I have never owned a brand new car before.
Therefore, I am going to do everything posible to prevent future headaches if something was to go wrong w/ my ride.
Plus, if I visit my dealer on a regular basis, you can kind of get in good. (exmpl. they don't care about all my aftermarket parts)
where, w/ my jetta, I never knew the dealer, then dropped my tranny on the ground, took it to the dealer w/ the warranty, they said F*CK YOU cause I had "oversized tires" (17's) I said the hell w/ them.....I'm gonna play it safe and get in good
