Man, I was cleaning the interior of the car the other day, and right by the side mirror, on the passenger side, I saw a rust spot. Its on the weld where the door meets the window frame thingy...The paint is chipped off and its RUSTED!!!! Damn Honda better have a good warranty for that. I know the manual says 5 years and all, but they better be quick in fixing it. I"m taking it down to the dealer of Friday...This is really Pi$$!ng me off!!!!!

Well, honda isnt the messiah of all car manufacturers so it can happen. But your right, I would be really pissed also if that happened to me.

i had rust in the same exact spot as that on my car, i noticed it like a month after i got the car, and honda wouldnt fix it, sorry that you had the same luck i did man

I don't know of this is true or not but I remember reading something about Hondas warranty for rust. If I remember correctly, they are not Liable unless the rust is so bad that it has eaten away and there is now a hole there. Maybe I'm wrong,... Check the Manual. Hope your dealer is cool.

I noticed that awhile back on my car, before rusting so I used touch up paint for it. If they're not gonna do anything I suggest getting some ultra fine sand paper or some thing so scrape off the rust then a layer or two of touch up paint followed by some wax, best of luck.

Damn, I thought I was the only one. After a week I bought the car I noticed rust in the same place and brought it to the dealer that day. They took care of everything and my car was out by the end of the next day.

It's so annoying because the car is only 6 months old. I will write Mr. Honda himself, if there was one, to get this fixed. They're gonna know who I am by name at that dealership if they don't fix my car. They'll have a poster with my picture on it and "Watch out for this guy" written under it. Thank God they don't serve me food, 'cause they'd spit in it...

I have no rust spots...sorry. I hope yours gets fixed, and Honda should fix it for free...All of that sorta stuff is under warrantee. Somebody hit my bumper today (hit and run) and i have to get it fixed...and i have a car show to be at sunday..JUST GREAT!
