My 1/4 times from last night
I went to Portland Raceway last night and got 4 runs in.... I have a 02 EX coupe 5 speed with DC Sports TCS, Injen CAI and DC Sports short shift adapter...
1st run - 16.6 @ 84.01
2nd run - 16.5 @ 83.84
3rd run - 16.4 @ 84.19
4th run - 16.3 @ 84.33
Are these good times or should I get lower times?

hmmmmm those times should be lower. what elevation are u at though bc that makes a huge difference. and what where your 60' times?
you definitely need to lower those 60' times and work on good reaction times (your takeoffs). both pave the way for a good ET. try launching at different rpm's to reduce spinning off the line and maximizing your traction. that is a big factor in your 60' time-->work your way down to very low 2.4's/high 2.3's and you'll see the difference in your 1/4

I Genrally drop ym clutch at about 3800RPMS.. any lower..I get the Evil bouncines.s.any higher..I get too much spin..not enough traction..
I have an Unmodded DX Sedan with about 250+Lbs of sound dydtem and I run between 16.94(finally a better time) and 17.18 . Might not sound too fast. But I have less horses, more weight, no mods.
Cheers

You should be able to get better than that i am sure
i got a 5 speed EX STOCK no nothing with a system and i was running on bald tires ( i think wiht better traction i could have gotten a better time) and my best time was a 16.8 i am goin to go back and see what i run with my 17's next
if you get ur R/T down it should drop your run time
i was able to get a .7?? R/T but i was spinning my wheels all the way into 2nd so i had no good traction
BUT IT WAS FUN
