215/40 or 215/45

I have a B&G coilover kit and i am getting 17 inch rims. which size tire will look the best and feel the best ?
Open to all suggestions

well depending on how low get the 45's

i have 40's...very bumpy

but i also have 18's

so i think you will be fine with 45's

45s, all the way. the ride is better and it fills out the wheel well better too!

45's would be more comfortable, but 40's would look better.
I have 205/40/17 and I am very happy with them, performance
is much better because of shorter side wall.

I would go with the 215/45 if you live in a place with bad roads. Also get them if you don't have your car lowered, it will fill the wheel gap more.

go with 215/45 cause if if you have 40 series then your speedometer would be off by 3 mph when your going 60. That means your odometer would have 5% more miles than the actual mileage.

I'm running 45's but I dont have a giant airbrake.. er... wing on the back end of my car so your actual performance may be less.

guess it really depends on how much you're lowering then. if 2" or so, then get 40s, but if less than that, then get 45s. the wider track on the 215 tire pretty much makes up for the better handling of the 205/40.

I had 40's on my last civic. I would have to cringe every time I hit a bump...it was just plain nasty. Go with 45's, they make your ride quality so much better.

215/45 all the way, I hate having a rough ride and risk bending a rim or something stupid like that. Also running up more miles on my ride is not cool but hehe less mileage is
