little fender bender.. help..

ok, i was sitting in my car ready to pull out, changing the cd, when all of a sudden, the moron behind me friggen rammed into my back bumper. i get out the car and let out a few cuss words.. then calmed down and look at the damage. to my suprise... no damage.. just little scuff marks. anyways.. thought nothing of it.. so took off when i got home, i took my hand and pressed against the bumper. and the part that got hit went in farther than the rest of the bumpr. like.. i guess theres some styro-foam type thingy inside the bumper right... and i guess the foam broke or got smashed or something.. i just know its not as stiff an sturdy as the rest of the bumber that wasnt in the accident..
my question is... is this soemthing i should worry about.. like what i get into another accident or fender bender.. is the damage gonna be worse because of the lack of foam.. err.. insulation. so is there a way to replace the insulation styro-foam.. and if so.. where. or should i just not worry about it.
.. thanks guys.

just take the front and rear bumper renforcements out, you'll lose at least 100lbs

uh.. i dont think thats a good idea, the foam is there for a reason, it'll probably prevent damage to the metal beams. but ya i've noticed the back went in after my friend rear ended me, not sure if its the foam that got crushed or what. i'm hoping that its supposed to have that extra room. can anyone that didn't get hit try to push in the middle of the bumper?

yea there is foam that is behind the bumpers. I noticed that when I installed my grill and I saw some styrofoam. I was like, is this all that protects me from a crash? But yea you should get it inspected by your dealer.

That piece of styrofoam cost 50 bucks, believe it or not, but I think it's worth it to replace it since any future fender bender WOULD indeed make things worse and you'd have to pay more in the end as opposed to spending 50 bucks to replace the styrofoam absorber
