dent in my hood...

well i spent the weekend up my buddies camp and unfortuantely they were goofin around and wrestling outside while i slept (was passed out), and i woke up to find a huge dent near the center of my hood , fortunately my friend apologized and said he would pay for it, now i just want to know how much it would cost to fix the dent??, also would it be cheaper to just get a new hood (cause if so i will definetaly make him buy me a CF hood)...

I think it depends on where the dent is exactly located. If you look at the underside of the hood there is metal almost zigzaging to support the hood. If you dent it at the wrong spot, only way you might be able to fix it is using ice and a hair dryer. Since your friend is paying, get the money + some of your own and go CF!

well yea the dent is covered by the metal underneath so a pro is gonna have to fix it, but i will try my best to get a cf hood out of this, do you guys think a CF hood would look good on a black car...

the dent will probably just be popped out...probably 10-25$ dollars. a new CF hood will run you 400-650$

mine was 550$ and i got a deal.....it is black with a blue tint when you look it from an angle.....to match the styling of my car. so be glad its only a little dent

Yeah I would get it fixed, or atleast have it looked at to see how much its gonna cost, but you wouldnt really wanna rip your friend off would you?. I guess it depends on how good a friend he is to you?, might be worth it? J/K.
