Should I get a 2013 Civic? Hi, I read that Honda changed the Civic in 2013, and I saw a reference that said the 2012 was "trashed" by reviewers. I have no idea. I am looking at 2010-2013, mostly a 2012 under 50k miles.
Is there some reason I really want a 2013. All things being equal on price, miles, and trim level.

The change for 13 was more of a facelift, it just happened a year earlier than most mid-model run facelifts because the 12 was panned hard by the media. Google can probably find you some of those reviews, like they hated the non-padded door panels and whatnot.
06-11 was a model run, or 8th generation...facelift for 09(?) model year
12-15 was a model run, or 9th generation....facelift for 13 model year
There may be other differences between various model years too.
I have a 2012 and I like it.
I did DIY upgrade a few things on my car......some of those would have come standard on a 13, like a backup camera and sliding center armrest.
