i think its when you hold the brake while pushing the accel and then letting go of the brake in order to get a fast start

wow ok that just sounds stupid....... is it just me or is it really stupid?
I mean, that's like getting on a bike, holding the brakes, and trying to pedal....... if you hold the brakes hard enough and push hard enough...... you'll break your legs (a.k.a. drivetrain), right?!? just checking.......

hey if you have an automatic...thats the best you can do to launch your car. Its better than waiting for the light and pressing the gas from idle...[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]

It definetly does get you a faster start but (correct me if I'm wrong, dont flame) Itt is stupid because it can screw up your torque converter...
